Barzanò & Zanardo has been awarded a Gold ranking in the 2026 edition of WTR 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals, one of the most authoritative international guides dedicated to trademark practice.

Hailed as a “market leader for prosecution work” by peers and foreign associates, Barzanò & Zanardo has served as a staunch trademark protector since 1878. The 200-strong group tends to huge amounts of marks from seven bases around the country and keeps a hawkish eye out for threats by diligently monitoring both online and physical markets

The 2026 edition also highlights the contribution of two professionals within the firm:

  • Alessandra Tedesco is recognised as Gold Recommended Individual – Prosecution and Strategy, confirming her position among the leading practitioners in the field.
  • Angelica Lodigiani is ranked Bronze Recommended Individual – Prosecution and Strategy and Bronze Recommended Individual – Enforcement and Litigation, and brings consolidated expertise in domain names and geographical indications (GI).

This latest recognition further strengthens Barzanò & Zanardo’s standing among the leading firms in the Italian and international intellectual property landscape.
