Before joining Barzanò & Zanardo in 2010, I began my career in intellectual property protection working at a company which dealt in lighting design and furnishing accessories, and subsequently I had the opportunity to work with an examiner from the European Patent Office for a short time. I consider one of my strengths my ability to identify with the client and understand their needs as well as the mechanisms involved in the examination of petitions at EPO, UIBM, OHIM, and those going before the Italian courts, civil and criminal.
I am a licensed attorney at European Patent Office and the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, a licensed design attorney at EUIPO, and licensed as a European Patent Litigator. In addition, since 2016 I have been a member of the EQE Committee I exam commission for certification before the European Patent Office.
I am a construction engineer and architect, and I have received a master’s degree in Intellectual Property Protection with a focus on the Chinese market. I am able to offer a tailor-made protection strategy for your project, taking into account various points of view: functional, aesthetic, and territorial.
Admitted to represent parties before the Unified Patent Court.
