I deal with the protection of biotechnological and chemical inventions since 2011, with a particular focus on pharmaceuticals and therapeutic applications. During my working experience in several consulting firms, I also gained experience in other related sectors such as cosmetics, nutrition, nanoparticles, and agronomy, which I make at the disposal of Barzanò & Zanardo’s team since 2024.
I handle the drafting and filing of patent applications with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) or the European Patent Office (EPO), as well as the corresponding examination procedures. Additionally, I manage the patent portfolio of clients in various foreign countries. I also have experience in opposition and appeal procedures before the EPO and in litigation in Italy as a Technical Consultant for the Party or Court-appointed Expert.
I am an authorized representative before the European Patent Office and the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, as well as a qualified representative before the EUIPO. I am also a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the EPO (epi) and I am qualified to represent parties before the Unified Patent Court.
