Having been with Barzanò & Zanardo since 2002, I manage the worldwide trademark portfolios of leading Italian companies which are active in different fields, sharing global protection strategies and assisting multinational corporations operating in a range of sectors, notably media, food and beverage, providing legal advices on IP matters.
I assist clients with trademark clearance and pre-filing advice, filing and prosecution of trademark practices in Italy and abroad, management of opposition proceedings, drafting of negotiation of out-of-court settlement, coexistence agreements, license agreements, drafting opinions on infringment and unfair competition matters. I have also gained significant experience in the field of due diligence and trademark evaluation.
I use pragmatic and timely approach that allows me to propose “tailor-made” strategic advice after careful evaluation of the development needs and commercial uses of the rights of companies I assist.
I am a qualified Attorney-at-law (before the Italian Bar) and Trademark Attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM), and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). I am a member of the Italian Board of Industrial Property Consultants (FICPI), of AIPPI and ECTA.
