Maria Teresa Terrenzio

CV

It is fundamental to me to evaluate the peculiarities of each case, in order to assist clients in the best way to protect their trademarks and geographical indications, both in Italy and abroad.

After a Degree in Law, I kept studying in a Post-Graduate Master Course in Food Law, focusing in particular on IP protection in the agri-food sector.

Thanks to both my academic and work experiences abroad, I can easily deal with the most diverse situations I face in my everyday job as a Trademark Attorney.

Working in Barzanò & Zanardo since 2016, I developed my professional skills as a consultant both for trademarks and other distinctive signs. These skills – together with my carefulness and empathy in the relationship with either colleagues and clients – allow me to build up tailor-made protection strategies, with specific attention to the peculiarities of each case.

I assist clients in the protection of their trademarks both in Italy and abroad, ranging from preliminary activities to filing and legal matters, as well as Geographical Indications (PDO, PGI and TSG).

I’m a licensed Trademark Attorney at the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) and the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
