My legal education has been initially focused on the European Union law and on the protection of the Competition and Market, in which intellectual property law thrives.
I enriched my knowledge on and got more interested in the fields of Competition Law, innovation and in the protection of Intellectual Property thanks to my post-graduate specialization, and I started my career in Barzanò & Zanardo in 2018. Also, I obtained the professional qualification as Trademark and Design Attorney, along with the admission to the Italian Bar.
During my career, I have had the opportunity to get to know and better understand the daily legal needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as those of workers, by virtue of the internship I did, during which I supported the Judge of the Labour Court of Avellino in the daily activities.
I believe that the best way to outline the protection strategy for my clients’ trademark portfolios is to constantly discuss with them their specific needs, during both the formation phase and the protection and optimisation.
The scope I generally offer my advice for, starting with full availability TM searches, ranges from the prosecution of Italian and European Union trademarks, to international registrations, foreign national trademark applications and management of trademark portfolios, together with opposition and revocation administrative proceedings and the assistance during the negotiations of coexistence agreements related to them.
Moreover, I deal with the management of domain name registrations and reassignment procedures.
I have been member of the Professional Order of Trademark Consultants since 2022 and I am licensed to represent Clients before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
