In the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) context, B&Z has set the goal for 2023 to achieve Mission No. 5 introduced in relation to the measures provided by the Italian PNRR: Achieve gender equality and self-determination for all women and girls.
The UNI/PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality Certification is the tool implemented by the Italian Government through which organizations can certify their ability to operate in a more inclusive and less discriminatory work environment, enhancing individual and organizational performance.
This is an important corporate milestone: the accreditation by Accredia of the certifier TÜV Italia is the testimony of our commitment to promote diversity and inclusivity, support for female empowerment, reduce of gender differences, fight gender inequality, stereotypes, and discrimination, promote an increasingly inclusive and respectful corporate culture towards female skills.
The Certification is a tangible testimony to our commitment to promoting a work environment that respects and values the diverse perspectives, skills, and experiences of all B&Z employees, regardless of gender or other personal characteristics. We firmly believe that a diversified workforce not only enriches our corporate culture but also makes us more innovative and competitive in the market.
To obtain this recognition, it is necessary to achieve specific KPIs on various organizational aspects, such as work-life balance, equal opportunities in selection and career advancement, pay equality, measures to protect parenthood, specific training for awareness of discrimination and gender-based violence, prevention of harassment or abuse in the workplace, etc. This evaluation includes a review of corporate policies and procedures as well as a detailed examination of gender-related organizational data and indicators.
