Sergio Di Gennaro

CV

Over 25 years of experience in the sector allows me to handle a wide range of issues and quickly identify the best potential solutions for the client.

I have been at Barzanò & Zanardo since 2002.

I have gained extensive experience in the sector, thanks to a long professional career at a multinational company in Italy and abroad.

I deal with all activities related to the management, development and protection of patent portfolios and those concerning technological surveillance. I represent clients in patent litigation matters as a party-appointed technical consultant.

I am registered as a technical consultant in the Court of Milan. I serve in this capacity regularly, and I have also been nominated by the courts of Genoa and Rome.

I act as a speaker at industry conferences, and I teach preparation courses for the qualification exam.

I held the position of patent manager of Barzanò & Zanardo’s Turin office for six years.

Currently I am the manager of commercial development for the Barzanò & Zanardo group. In this role, I identify new services for customers and new business initiatives for the group.

I am a licensed attorney at the European Patent Office, patent attorney at the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, licensed design attorney at EUIPO. I am a member of the Italian Board of Industrial Property Consultants, the International Federation of Consultants in Intellectual Property (FICPI) and International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
